Lydia and Tyler Update

Everything is about video games for Tyler now.  He really took to the NES that I got for Christmas.  Now he uses his hour a day of electronics to play Super Mario Brothers and Kirby.  We were at a social dinner at the church the other day and Tyler kept talking about the “Triforce of Wisdom.”  I said, “Everything is Zelda to you.”  And he responded, “No, some things are Mario and some things are Kirby.”

Lydia is a diligent planner.  She usually has Family Home Evening planned out for us a week in advance (including which dessert we will make).  She has great ideas for birthdays and how we will spend our Saturdays.  Last week she was very upset to go to school on Friday.  I couldn’t figure out why, since she’s liked school most of this year, but I finally found out that she woke up thinking it was Saturday.
