Updates on the Kids

Tyler loves his "blankie" and asks for it day and night. He holds it up to his face or lays down on it and pretends to sleep. He still calls water 'juice,' and he points out anything that he knows how to say and looks us straight in the eye to say what it is (on the second repetition). He's 100% playful.

Lydia loves to make jokes about poopoo and is very opinionated, especially about food. But I do manage to get her to eat vegetables after some struggle. Today she had me tie a cape (blanket) around her neck so she could run around and be a super-hero. I tied it so well that she couldn't get it off. I love how good of a communicator she is. She's such a clever girl. And it's fun to hear her annunciate her answers when we ask her things---"yes."

Larisa told me a story that happened while I was gone last week. Lydia was still playing in the bath while Larisa got Tyler ready for bed. It takes a while with the lotions and everything we put on them. When Tyler was all ready in his pajama, Larisa had to run to our room for something (maybe the phone). Then she heard Lydia laughing herself to death and ran in the bathroom to find that Tyler was sitting in the bathtub with her, in his pajama.
