Little explorer

This afternoon, we took the kids to a nearby park on a walk. Tyler insisted that we go somewhere with the roots. By that he meant forested area. He loves hiking, wading in creaks and looking for new trails. So we turned of the main road which lead us along a reservoir and walked into the woods. It was so fun. We could barely keep up with him. He ran ahead and kept finding new paths to follow. We found horse tracks,      recently fallen trees (we figured they went down during resent hurricane), a nice little creak and colorful mushrooms which Tyler demolished with a stick. We loved this adventure. Tyler was the only one that voiced his disappointment about this trip. It was not long enough!
