July and August

Well, I realize that we don't write as much or take as many pictures as we did when Lydia was a newborn. Sorry Tyler. But we sure do have just as much fun with you.

Larisa keeps pointing out how Tyler is so different than Lydia was (other than that he isn't as chubby yet). He looks directly at people and things, while Lydia would just stare at our foreheads. Larisa holds a little toy above Tyler's head and moves it back and forth while he turns his head from side to side to follow it. Tyler is also a little noisier and demand more attention than Lydia did at this age.

Tyler seems to like lying on his stomach on our laps while we rub his back. Larisa is doing that for him right now in fact.

Lydia is also growing up very quickly. She's even grown taller in the past couple of months, outgrowing some of her clothes. She's corrected some of her vocabulary. For example, she no longer calls water "wadit." She's also added new words and phrases that she uses regularly: thank you, I'll do it, and bynin (vitamin). She has fun singing, playing instruments like the piano and guitar with us, and her all time favorite - dancing.
